To Anyone Who Uses the Internet
by Christopher Meredith on 02/19/2008
For anyone who uses the internet, I would like to commend to you OpenDNS. It's a free service which is compatible with every internet service provider and can even be set up on routers to provide its service to an entire network.
OpenDNS is a free account-based alternative DNS server. By using OpenDNS instead of your default ISP DNS, you get faster resolutions, which means a faster internet. It can also collect statistics of web traffic on a single computer or across the whole network. It can also be configured to block certain content including pornography and phishing websites.
It's my new favorite service. It has a ton of other features, it's easy to set up, it's free, and it really does make the internet faster and safer. I highly recommend it to you.

So I am breaking your rule about keeping posts on topic. Brad Bourgeois here...I just wanted to track you down to say a big congratulations to you and Rashell...and to tell you that I was nosy and up in planning your future after your wife told me how well you did your first semester of 1L - based on that, I spread the good word to a partner with the Jackson firm Butler Snow, who I've been dealing with for about the last year on an issue. His name is Trey Bourn and he said he would be at some get-together his firm was putting on for MC Law students tonight...said he would be on the lookout for one Christopher Meredith...glad to hear the update from your dear bride.
Take care, man...

Thanks Brad, for everything. I did get a chance to meet Trey and we spoke for a few minutes. The interview at Butler Snow went very well, I think. Hopefully I'll hear back from them in the coming weeks. I'll try to keep you posted.
